KNIT Knowledge. Networking. Intervention. Training
Life-skills education programme aims to promote the Knowledge base necessary to navigate today's society. The programme will establish support and information Networking enabling participants to make lasting community linkages. Intervention will focus on changing those patterns of behaviour which just aren’t working. Alternative styles will be offered to show new ways of looking at family issues. The Training will take place for 2 hours per week over 10 weeks conducted by David J Rolls (B.Soc.Wk). You will develop strong life-skills examining the way yourself and how changes in attitude will make a world of difference to your relationship with your family. The programme offers support to you by linking with a mentor who will journey with you and assist you to implement these positive changes. We will challenge you to make changes. This programme is different - it is unique. This can change your life and that of your children the creative living skills acquired will be a valuable tool to help your family to cope with arising issues.
Any person who is experiencing a crisis in their life or who just wants to be ready for the challenges of family relationship in today's society. Referrals can be via your Doctor, Government Department, or self referrals are accepted by contacting Logan East Community Centre. Cost: The 10 week course is Free. Funded by FaHCSIA (Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs).
