Logan East Community Neighbourhood Association Inc. (LECNA) was established in July 1990, and officially opened by former Logan City Mayor Rod Golledge in May 1991. Colleen Benson and Julie Fursey are the coordinators of LECNA. Volunteers work together and assist staff to support our local community to meet its needs.

LECNA has won many awards for community services over the years, in particular, the Davida Steele Memorial Award in 1994 and 2000. LECNA has been awarded The Business Achievers Award for Community Service/ Non profit organization for five consecutive years from 2003 to 2007 and was a finalist from 2008 to 2011.

Volunteers are always welcome!

 

Volunteers come from all walks of life and vary in age, gender, culture, experience, and expertise. Donating your time and skills through a variety of tasks at the centre will assist us to continue to provide much needed services within our community. Training will be provided. New volunteers are always welcome. If you would like to work with dedicated and friendly people and want to;
